Abby Grodnick Kennedy, grew up in Mobile,  Alabama.  She graduated from UMS- Wright Prepatory School in 2001 and received a degree in Sociology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2005. After a taste of city life during her time spent in DC, Abby decided to move to Manhattan after graduation where she enjoyed working in the event-planning world. Though city life was a blast, her love was waiting in Mobile.  Abby moved home and married her high school sweetheart, Cliff Kennedy in 2012.  Two years later, they were blessed with a little blond curly haired boy, Mayer Mitchell Kennedy.  After reading books to Mitchell every night, Abby and Cliff became inspired to create one of their own for Mitchell and everyone who lives in or has roots in Mobile. A sixth-generation Mobilian, Abby loves being able to contribute to a city that has been such a big part of her and her family’s lives.  She hopes you enjoy this book.
